Food drive benefiting South County Outreach: November 2-20, 2020

We’re thrilled to announce we’ve teamed up with South County Outreach to host a food drive in our Mission Viejo branch office!

The food drive will run from November  2-20, 2020 and there are donation barrels in our branch where you can drop off your items. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, food need is up over 90% from 2019 and South County Outreach’s pantry inventory is down 40%. Please join us in our effort to help feed families in need.

Most critically needed items:

  • Mac & Cheese (Both boxed and Canned)
  • Hearty Soups (Campbell’s Chunky, Progresso)
  • Pasta Sauce (Red and White)
  • Canned Pasta (Chef Boyardee etc)
  • Canned Fruit (All Kinds)
  • Canned Chili (With or w/o Beans)
  • Canned Chicken
  • Oatmeal (Instant or Regular)
  • Breakfast, Protein & Granola Bars
  • Cereal
  • 2 lb Bags of Rice or Beans
  • Boxed Pasta -(Macaroni, Penne, Fusili, Bowtie)
  • Peanut Butter & Jelly
  • Stewed Tomatoes, Tomato Sauce

For more than 30 years, South County Outreach (originally Saddleback Community Outreach), has been a non-profit leader in the fight to end hunger and homelessness in Orange County. Through the implementation of programs like their Transitional Housing Program for homeless families, along with their Food Pantry, which distributes over 800,000 lbs of food and keeps nearly 2,500 children fed each year, South County Outreach is doing what they can to help the community.
